Yannick Tylle started working as a photographer in 2008 for the photo agency actionpress. As a freelance photojournalist he lived three years in Uganda from where he covered news in East Africa for the European press agency EPA. He is represented by gettyimages and dpa picture alliance. His photos are regularly published in German and international magazines and newspapers.
Yannick studied Applied African Studies: Development Studies in Geography in Bayreuth, Germany and Geoinformation and Visualization in Potsdam, Germany. Since 2015 Yannick works as a geoinformatics consultant in Uganda.
